Eight age divisions for baseball and softball. Every player starts with the Festival Player Pass and one primary competition track.

Additional tracks and side competitions are +$15 each. The All Access Upgrade includes all tracks and side competitions and is not double-charged with individual add-ons. All Access eligibility is still subject to role readiness and schedule availability.
Qualifying Day sets the leaderboard. Championship Day decides the hardware.
Every hitter is guaranteed live at-bats. Battle is rewarded. Delays are not.

The top 12 hitters in each age division advance to the Crown Cut Round for one additional LIVE AB. The top 8 after the Crown Cut advance to Championship Day. Each LIVE AB may also be capped by pitch count. Battle Points may be awarded when a hitter extends an at-bat with foul balls, but no LIVE AB continues beyond the official cap.
Each division targets 32 total players, with 12 pitcher-qualified and 6-8 catcher-capable spots. Hitter-only spots may be limited once role balance becomes an issue.
A division is fully confirmed when it has enough pitcher-qualified and catcher-capable players to safely run the LIVE AB format. Registrations may be accepted, waitlisted, refunded, or rolled over as needed to protect event quality.
Festival play uses the current official LIVE AB scoring standard, the same values across hitting and pitching.
Battle Points may be awarded for extended at-bats within the time cap.
Not helpers. Both roles compete for recognition and their own path through the event.
Pitchers compete for leaderboard points, Pitching Champion recognition, Fastest Pitch honors, Accuracy Challenge honors, and Championship Day matchups. The best pitchers will have the opportunity to face the best hitters as the event advances.
Pitchers must have recent live-pitching experience and be physically prepared to throw in a controlled competitive setting. LIVE AB may limit pitching workload to protect player safety and event pace.
Official Catcher Crew players help keep the event moving, protect the quality of the competition, and receive special recognition.
Catchers may also compete as hitters if registered accordingly.
Catcher Showcase scoring is separate from LIVE AB scoring and may include:
A future LIVE AB game where the catcher chooses the pitcher, a live runner attempts to steal, and the catcher competes on pop time, transfer, accuracy, and the out result. Part of LIVE AB's long-term vision to turn every baseball skill into a competitive live-reps experience.
The Home Run Derby will use age-appropriate fence distances or power zones. Fence distances are set by division, not by individual player, to keep competition fair, fast, and fun. For younger divisions, the Derby may use a power-zone format rather than only over-the-fence home runs.
LIVE AB will use catchers whenever possible. A large backstop or future LIVE AB Net system may be used as an operational backup to keep the event moving, protect players, and manage catcher workload. Catchers are the preferred format. The net and backstop system is a backup tool for safety, pace, and workload management.
Players may enjoy open field areas only when those areas are not being used for active LIVE AB competition, warmups, or event operations. No horseplay, tackling, wrestling, throwing without permission, climbing fences, entering restricted areas, or running through active fields. Players must follow staff instructions immediately. Any player creating a safety issue may be removed from the field area.
The eight age-division Hitting Champions advance to the Champion of Champions Final. The overall Champion of Champions receives a championship belt, large trophy, LIVE AB Crown, and a sponsor-backed training grant or award.
